The government of India has joined TikTok recently when the whole country is boycotting Chinese products & apps. A few weeks back Indian government officials have created a verified TikTok account with a blue tick and wrote bio “citizen engagement platform of Government of India“.
Now people are in shock after knowing that Govt of India has Joined TikTok between Boycott Chinese Apps Movement. People have started asking on twitter by tagging all BJP government ministers and official’s that this is the ‘Modi’s Aatma Nirbhar Bharat?’ this is how we will become Aatma Nirbhar?
On 12th May 2020 prime minister, Narendra Modi addresses the nation and raises slogans like “Vocal for Local” and “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” but after the government’s decision to join TikTok all that slogans seems Jumla gain. There is no official statement has been released by the Indian government official till today that why the government has joined TikTok?
Till now official TikTik account of Indian government @mygovindia has more than 900K followers with 6.5 M likes. This is really very confusing for Indians who are running a movement over the internet to uninstall Chinese apps from their mobile phones.
