Uttarakhand Flood Live Update, Current Situation, Heavy Rains, Death, and Casualties: Heavy rains lashes out in Uttarakhand and causes huge destruction and casualties in the state. It is being reported that an under-construction bridge over the Chalthi river in the Champawat district has been washed away due to a sudden rise in the water levels.
Till the news written 22 deaths have been reported including 6 missing unknown people. Heavy rainfall battered Uttarakhand for a third straight day today and created chaos and fear for the people living in the mountains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today 19th Oct and directed all necessary decisions immediately after taking an overview of the current situation in the state.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert for Uttarakhand with a forecast of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the state on Monday and advised to be very alert for the upcoming 2-3 days. A red alert has already been issued in almost every district of the state.

Five people, including three laborers from Nepal, were killed and two others were injured in rain-related incidents in Uttarakhand on Monday, October 18, 2021, and till now 22 deaths have been reported including 6 missing unknown people.
