Saba Azad Bio, Age, Height, Education, Boyfriend, Personal Life Details: Popularly known as Hrithik Roshan’s Girlfriend, Saba Azad is an Indian actress, and also theatre director & musician who plays many roles in her real life as well. Born On 1 November 1985, Saba is also one-half of the electro-funk duo Madboy/Mink, which has its base in Mumbai.
Rumours of a relationship between Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad started when the two were spotted holding hands in front of a Mumbai restaurant in February. Later, Saba attended the gathering with Hrithik’s family as well. According to reports, the two are thinking of moving to the next phase of their relationship.
Saba Azad Early Life
Saba Azad was given the name Saba Singh Grewal when she was born in Delhi to a Punjabi father and a Kashmiri mother. She started her career as a theatre performer after completing school to pursue a profession in performing because she had always been interested in dance and acting.
She is the famous stage performer Safdar Hashmi’s niece. Azad was brought up in a theatrical family and has performed with Safdar Hashmi’s Jana Natya Manch on stage since she was a very young child. She also had training in contemporary, jazz, and Latin dance forms.
Career as Actress
She began her career in film when she was cast in the lead part of director Ishaan Nair’s short film Guroor, which was shown at film festivals in Florence and New York. She afterwards went on to work in numerous short films.
At the young age of 18, Saba made her Bollywood debut as one of the lead Raaga in the independent film Dil Kabaddi opposite Rahul Bose.
She gained fame for playing the title character in the romantic comedy Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge in 2011. In the 2016 Y-Films online series Ladies Room, she also portrayed Dingo. She started The Skins, his own theatre group, in 2010, and directed his debut play, Lovepook.
She has appeared in ads for Cadbury, Pond’s, Maggi, Tata Sky, Vodafone, Sunsilk, Google, Airtel, and many other brands. She has also worked in print advertisements for many brands including Clean & Clear, Westside, and Amway.
Career as a Musician
In 2012, she founded her own independent electronic band, Madboy/Mink, in collaboration with Imad Shah. Due to the growing popularity of her band among young people, Saba also recorded various songs for Bollywood films, including Nautanki Saala in 2013, where she sang the songs Dhak Dhak Karne Laga and Dil Ki to Lag Gayi. Saba contributed his vocals to the Dhoom Anthem in 2013. Her song Calcutta Kiss from the movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshi is another one of her well-known works.
