IPL 2020 Might Got Cancelled If Covid-19 Situation Didn’t Get Normalised by 15 April

Indian premier league (IPL) 2020 was scheduled to start on 29th March 2020 but due to coronavirus pandemic it has been postponed to 15th April 2020 but now to start of IPL 2020 from 15th April seems in dark as coronavirus cases are on the rise in India. BCCI hasn’t issued any new official notification regarding new dates or changes in schedule.

President of BCCI Sourav Ganguly hoping that VIVO IPL 2020 might get the start on new date 15th April 2020, but from the different sources, IPL 2020 might get canceled if the situation of convid 19 didn’t get normalized before 15th April 2020 in the country. All the IPL franchises and players are hoping for the best to start the tournament on a new date decide by BCCI. If IPL 2020 got canceled team owners and participating players have to face a big loss.

As you already know that PSL 2020 got canceled by PCB without having any semi-final and final matches after a long series of league matches due to coronavirus pandemic. Now everyone is also in dilemma and not sure about IPL 2020 fight on the ground between 8 IPL teams. New dates or any latest news updates are awaited from VIVO IPL 2020 management and BCCI authority.
