Millions of Indians who are closed in their home for more than 2 months are eager to know that the government will extend the ongoing lockdown or not?
Many news websites like indiatoday.in are claiming that PM Narendra Modi might announce the 2 more weeks lockdown extension till 14th June and some are claiming that MHA will extend the lockdown till 31st June. But on a tweet, MHA spokesperson made it clear that govt hasn’t planned anything about Lockdown 5.0 till now.

Ongoing lockdown 4.0 amid coronavirus pandemic will end on 31st May 2020 and after that central as well as state government has to decide about the lockdown as per the COVID-19 situation in the state. It has been said that states like Maharashtra, Gujarat & Delhi might have to be in lockdown till 30 June 2020 but there is no official confirmation till now from the government officials.
