Processor and Memory
The JioPhone runs on KAI operating system which is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Mali-400 clocked GPU at 512MHz. It has 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage and expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Camera
The 4G feature phone has a 0.3MP selfie shooter, 2MP rear camera, supports video recording as well.
Battery Backup
With 2000 mAh Li-Po battery offers 12 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time.
JioPhone Design and Display
Reliance JioPhone gets a compact candy-bar design, typical for various feature phones. It features an Alphanumeric keypad. There’s a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels will be available in black color option and it has single SIM option that supports a nano SIM.
JioPhone includes a dedicated SD card slot, speaker 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, Torchlight a USB Type 2.0 port for charging and SOS option which can be activated by long pressing the number 5 on the keypad.
The smart feature phone also preloaded with many jio apps like MyJio, JioCinema, JioTV, JioMusic, JioChat, JioXpressNews. The device supports import of contacts through Gmail and apps like Microsoft Exchange.
