The education minister of Tamil Nadu “K.A. Sengottaiyan” recently said that the Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10th board exams will start on the 1st of June and will end on the 12th of June 2020, it was postponed due to the coronavirus nationwide lockdown. Now the student’s hoping that this will be final date and they all will able to appear in the exam on the new date given by the TN School examination board.
Time Table for Tamil Nadu Class 10th SSLC exam:
- June 1, 2020: Language
- June 3, 2020: English
- June 5, 2020: Maths
- June 6, 2020: Optional Language
- June 8, 2020: Science
- June 10, 2020: Social Science
- June 12, 2020: Vocational
The earlier exam was supposed to start from 27th March 2020 but PM Modi has announced complete lockdown from 24th march amid COVID-19, so broad has forced to postpone it till further notice. As per the new schedule, the Evaluation of answer sheets of the Class 12th exam will begin from the 27th of May and for class 10th it will start in the last week of June. Also, the re-examination for absentees in the final exams of class 12th will be held on the 4th of June.
Like previous years this year also the huge number of students are going to take part in the 10th board examination. Till now the Tamil Nadu state government has not yet decided on re-open the schools post COVID-19 lockdown but for the board exams, these dates seem final, if everything went well in India and ongoing lockdown didn’t get extended further.
