GATE 2018 Exam Dates ME, EC, CS, IT, Admit Card Release Date: GATE [Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering] is a national level entrance examination for admission to Post Graduate courses in the field of engineering and technology. Applicants can get admissions into M.Tech./Ph.D. programmes in IITs , IISc, IISERs and other reputed institutions through GATE score. Every year, GATE is organised by the 7 zonal IITs & an IISc on rotational basis. This year, GATE exam is conducted by IIT, Guwahati.
GATE Admit Card 2018
The admit card is an important identity document. Candidates are advised to download the GATE 2018 admit card and save it after printing a copy to carry to the exam hall. The details of the candidate along with the signature, photograph, date as well as the timing of the exam and the exam centre address will be mentioned in the GATE 2018 admit card.
The admit card of GATE 2018 will be released online by IIT Guwahati. The application form of GATE 2018 has been released on 31st August. Applicants can fill and submit the application until October 9, 2017
 Permitted Identity Cards:
- For Indian students are- Voter ID, Aadhaar UID, Passport, PAN Card, Valid College ID, Employee identification card or Driving License
- For International students:Valid Passport/ Government issued ID/College ID or Employee ID
How To Download GATE Admit Card 2018
- Click on the GATE official web link to download GATE admit card
- Enter GATE enrolment Id, registration ID, date of birth, and captcha
- Then Click on ‘Submit’ button after entering the mandate information
- GATE 2018 admit card will appear on screen
- Save soft copy of admit card and take printout of the same
