PM Modi has attended BRICS Summit in China on 4th Sept 2017 and its seem now everything is normal between these two developing neighbor country after Doklam matter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday left for China’s  Xiamen city to attend the 9th BRICS summit, It is the second time that China has hosted the summit after the 2011 summit. PM Modi hopes would support the agenda for a stronger partnership among the member countries.
Narendra Modi was looking forward to creative discussions & positive outcomes at the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Summit in Xiamen city, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to hold a two-sided meeting of the three-day Summit on 5 September, almost a week after India and China announced a resolution of the 73-day-long Dokalam standoff. Â The China and the Indian soldiers were involved in a standoff since June 16 after the Indian side ceased the construction of a road by the Chinese military. After attending the BRICS meeting with the host, PM Modi will be travelling to Myanmar.
In his speech on 4th Sept PM Modi kept a bilateral discussion on different topics with other leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin. Moreover, Mexico, Guinea, Thailand, and Tajikistan– invited by China as part of ‘BRICS Plus’ outreach exercise.
