Telugu film producer Anil Sunkara and his friend Abhishek Agarwal have decided to support a film about his life. The film on Kalam has been announced titled ‘Dr. Abdul Kalam’ directed by Anil Sunkara will be made in English.
The first look poster of Dr. Abdul Kalam movie was already released and congratulating ISRO who launched 104 satellites in a go. The poster has two taglines: “From Bullock Carts to World Records”, “Every age has a hero and, Every hero has a story”.
The movie was announced last year in May. After a long gap, the film maker has decided to start the biopic of this great man. It is expected that the regular shooting of the movie will go on floors this year. The film will be produced by Dream Merchants Inc in association with AK Entertainments.
A filmmaker who is decided to make a biopic on D. Abdul Kalam, he needs the good amount of time to direct the movie on the former Indian President. The director told he had even discussed the idea of making the movie with Kalam. “When you think of making a movie on such a personality, you have to take a break for at least 3 years. It is not a movie which can be made in six-seven months.
