Team India suffered an embarrassing end to lose seven wickets for 28 runs and that cost them the Women’s World Cup which England won by nine runs. At the dramatic end of the match team India wasn’t able to make situation normal because of losing 7 consecutive wicked with last 7 overs.

ICC Women world cup 2017 India vs England Final Score- After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, the England women’s cricket team got off to a good start. Team England set the target of 229 runs for India to win. In reply, India began badly with opener Smriti Mandhana out for a duck. Next to go was skipper Mithali Raj, who was run out for 17 runs, leaving India battling at 43/2 at that stage. After this India’s new batting experience Harmanpreet Kaur and Raut steadies India innings putting in more than 50 runs partnership before the former was sacked for 51 runs. Team India which at one stage looked to win easily lost the final by 9 runs with 8 balls to spare.

A huge effort by Punam Raut 86 runs and Harmanpreet Kaur 51 runs went into useless as England beat India in the ICC Women’s World Cup, on Sunday, at Lord’s. Losing Smriti Mandhana for a duck and Mithali Raj for 17, India stuttered in their run chase. Disciplined bowling by Anya Shrubsole 6 by 46 in the last 5 overs of the match did the strategy as India lost quick wickets. With this win, England raise fourth World Cup title.

England Team: Team Captain Heather Knight, wicket keeper Sarah Taylor, Laura Winfield, Tammy Beaumont Natalie Sciver, Fran Wilson, Katherine Brunt, Jenny Gunn, Anya Shrubsole, Laura Marsh and Alex Hartley.

After losing a crucial final at lords Indian women cricket team loses a golden chance to win world cup title. The same was also happen in 2005 final when Indian loses final against Australia by 98 runs. Now Indian women cricket have to wait more for the world cup title.
